We made a reservation for New Years Day for 10 people, and we’re easily accommodated when we needed to adjust the time. All the staff we encountered were incredibly friendly, professional and helpful. Even though they were very busy due to the holiday, we were served in reasonable time and all of our needs were met. We had an excellent seat with a beautiful view of the lake at sunset. Excellent experience!

I love supporting a local business and we will continue to come here. The quality of the food was not good and hasn’t been awesome the last few times we have gone in. Our French onion soup had no bread/crouton and just a slap of lightly melted cheese on it. Why? If they were out of something they could have said so. The ambiance and space is great. Not sure what has changed but this isn’t the same restaurant it was a couple years ago.

My wife and I ate here for our 29th anniversary last night. Everything we ate was 100% spot on. You could tell there was a lot of thought behind every dish. The cooking techniques were incredible- everything was done to enhance the flavor of the dish without being flashy for the sake of being flashy. We did the 10 course dinner and are still debating which of the dishes we enjoyed the most. An added benefit of the restaurant- the smell of the smoke used for the cooking permeates the air which adds to the experience. The servers were casual but all incredibly professional and helped to create a memorable night. Bonus points for an interesting and fun wine/sake/cocktail list! We can't wait to come back.

First off thanks to David for offering up some advice for sightseeing in the local area. Then he cooks these dinners that settle very well. We enjoy a great dinner on travel and this was “top notch”. What are you waiting for? Make the reservation.
