Yauatcha Soho, located in the heart of vibrant London, is an all-day dim sum teahouse offering a wide selection of modern authentic dim sum alongside European patisserie and an extensive range of teas, wine and cocktails. The design of the restaurant is a modern interpretation of the old Chinese teahouse. At the same time, the lighting and seating embodies the atmosphere of a vibrant ‘chatter shop’, similar to the traditional Hong Kong dim sum restaurants. The restaurant offers Cantonese dishes with a modern influence, with an extensive range of steamed, baked, grilled and fried dim sum such as Yauatcha’s signature dishes of Scallop shui mai and Venison puffs.

We’ve long loved Canary Wharf and it's rich history of the nearby Docklands and Billingsgate Market, yet Blacklock in a glass tower never quite fit. One look at an old disused warehouse nestled cosily in the corner of Canary Wharf underneath the train tracks of the North Dock and we knew we had found home. Beautiful romantic restaurant and stunning decor. Food delicious although slightly small portion sizes, and I felt that the pork (main course on the set lunch menu) should have come with at least some vegetables, without needing to order an extra side. However, the service was great, staff lovely, and overall a memorable experience for our anniversary. We will definitely go back for special occasions!

Another lovely lunch at Smiths. Food delicious, staff great and friendly so as expected. Went on 23rd December not as busy or noisy as Friday 6th evening. Had the set menu which is always lovely and good value and had a great table.

The tasting menu and service were fabulous! Many unique and wonderful courses. The sommelier Mohamed was not only personal but amazing in recommending great wines that exceeded our expectations. SOLA provides a truly memorable experience on all levels and a restaurant that we’ll revisit the next time we’re in London!
