Centered in the heart of Los Angeles, the historic building in which it resides was originally erected in 1929 by Charlie Chaplin, and later transformed into the iconic La Brea Bakery and Campanile Restaurant. République builds on this storied past, offering a gastronomic environment imbued with history and grandeur. The space features a casual bakery, café, and bar in the front with a more formal dining area located in the rear, serving a French-inspired menu created daily by our chefs.

In 2024, the original location of Petit Trois, on Highland Ave in Hollywood, celebrates 10 years as a beloved, can't miss part of LA's dining scene. We sat at Table #7 (outside) Few outside tables were occupied. Service was not a problem. We met a longtime friend for lunch. No noise, so we were able to communicate easily. I ordered the frittata w/sausage - $25. Excellent dish and fairly priced. Ambiance is excellent. Looking forward to a return.

We had Alexa as a server and she went above and beyond! She was super sweet and answered any questions we had about the menu. From right when we got there, the host was super friendly and very professional, she was great! The table we got was right next to the fire place. This was a date night we had wanted to do for such a long time, Gracias Madre was incredible!! Thank you for such a lovely night!
