Massimo's has been a Fremont destination and landmark since opening in 1976. The name Massimo's is not only the middle name of our late founder but also means “great”. The food, service and atmosphere is the passion of owner Bill Rinetti Jr. We strive to create a cuisine that is fresh, seasonal and prepared with great care and also include some of our classical preparations including our Caesar Salad which is made in the dining room. This is an outstanding Greek restaurant. The best I have ever been to. Definitely a Michelin-quality. For a few decates I wanted to visit the famed Kokkari Estiatorio in SF but never had a chance. I am happy that they opened this location (sister restaurant) in Palo Alto. Calamari, Octopus, Lamb Chops, and their dessert offerings were all good. Stands out even for Palo Alto. The service quality was excellent as well. My business associate and I had a wonderful dinning experience. Thank you.

The food is good, the service is good. There was almost no one there for lunch. The prices seem very high which could explain the drop off of guests at lunch from days gone by.
