The Armory Lounge in the Portland Regency Hotel & Spa is a popular bar and restaurant in downtown Portland’s Old Port district. Located in the lower lobby of the hotel, the Armory Lounge provides a cozy atmosphere for hotel guests, and is also considered one of the best bars in downtown Portland by locals. Known for its delicious and inventive cocktails, the Armory also has a wide variety of wine and beer, including several local Maine craft beers. The waiter was very nice and efficient and the atmosphere was lovely and clean. Lots of interesting details to appreciate in the decor. The food itself was outstanding. I don’t think you could go wrong with any of the dishes. The clam chowder was a spot on and meatloaf was incredible.

We a had a wonderful dinner before attending a show. Our waiter Sean was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. Everything was delicious from our antipasto platter, cocktails, pasta dishes and crème brûlée with biscotti. I had the pasta with mushrooms and I would definitely order it again. Homemade biscotti was to die for! Looking forward to returning.

Truly, outstanding and quaint little place we had just flown up from Atlanta and the temperature change was a little more than I was dressed for the waitress, walked into the hotel, grabbed a blanket from housekeeping, and came back and wrapped it around me! Truly, outstanding service food was good. Wine list was a little bit light.
