the food was delicious and we all had a great time, we were a little disappointed when we first walked in because the hostess wasn’t there and we stood at the front for about 5 minutes before anyone spoke to us. the servers and other staff were looking over but no one came to help us. after that, the service was great and we had a lovely time! the food was awesome and we’d love to come back and give it another shot!

They do fish just right there, they just run out of Ono when we ordered, so we had the baqueta bass and it was superb. I wish I could remember the name of the waiter we had, he was excellent.

Our Christmas dinner at Brickmans Restaurant & Bar was truly delightful! Dining at 5 PM allowed us to enjoy a relaxed and unhurried experience, soaking in the festive vibes. The restaurant is incredibly family-friendly, making it a perfect spot to gather with both friends and loved ones during the holidays. The excellent customer service was the cherry on top—attentive, warm, and professional throughout our meal. Overall, Brickmans Restaurant & Bar provided us with a memorable Christmas dining experience, and we can’t recommend it enough for anyone looking to celebrate in a cozy and welcoming setting.

WE FOUND IT!! The best sushi in San Diego is in this tiny strip mall in Carlsbad!!! The rolls are huge and extremely creative. The fish is so fresh. And the flavors are amazing. Get this. You will not have to dip these s rolls in your soy n wasabi mix!!! They r extremely flavorful on their own.

Our server, Brook, is one of the best I’ve ever seen. She was friendly, efficient and attentive. The table beside us were a bit much but she rose above their poor behavior and cheerfully accommodated them. The food was excellent. Good beer & cocktails. Beautiful outdoor seating with plenty of heat lamps.
