Petit Trois Le Valley, the second outpost of Chef Ludo Lefebvre's beloved bistro, opened its doors in 2018 in Sherman Oaks. This larger location channels a lavish French Brasserie, with its marble bar, banquette lined dining room, and a Chef’s counter overlooking the open kitchen. The second dining room can be reserved for larger parties and private events. Since opening, Petit Trois has garnered praise from casual foodies and revered food critics. Casa Vega, in Sherman Oaks, opened its doors in 1956 and has been serving the people of Southern California ever since. Local residents, and even celebrities, have flocked to the family-run Mexican restaurant currently run by Christy Vega Fowler, daughter of original owner, Rafael Vega. One of my favorite LA restaurants. The omelet is excellent as is the burger, and they make the best frites in town. C'est formidable!

We have been coming to Mistral for over 30 years, and it has never disappointed. The service is always great, the food is consistently delicious, and we are welcomed like old friends, even if we had taken a long break between visits, as was necessitated by having a newborn And having to eat in family type restaurants for his first 10 years. Even then, we would make sure we got in a visit to Mistral at least three times a year. Prior to that we dined here pretty much weekly. We always joke that it’s our little Manhattan bistro in the heart of Sherman Oaks. Great date night spot!

Food was great. Comes out super quick though so just be ready for that. They kind of messed up the order of how the food was supposed to come out but overall was great.
