Next Door is the sister restaurant of Margaret, which, quite literally, sits next door to it at the corner of Bay St and Guilfoyle Avenue. Since I discovered The Potting Shed in 2019 I have been coming back to eat there as soon as I am in Sydney and I am never disappointed: the service, the atmosphere, the setting, the original cocktails not to mention the themed decorations. It's my favorite place !

Wow, what a special meal. Every dish was delicious, and the pasta sauces really wowed me. I loved the sashimi starter, the rigatoni carbonara and the pappardelle we had. Best tiramisu we’ve tried thus far! Not a banana fan but still loved the banana caramel dessert. Super great ambience watching all the action in the kitchen from the bar too 🥰

Fabulous food. The lobster spring rolls and prawn dumplings were a standout. And the steamed perch was subtle and flavourful. We had great service too. Will definitely go back.

Had a lovely girls lunch on Sunday. Organised a set menu with lots of delicious food. Cocktails were great. Service was friendly and helpful.
