Hamrock's Restaurant is located within the Moore-McCandlish House (built 1842) in the heart of historic Fairfax City. We've been proud to serve delicious made-to-order American dishes using fresh ingredients since our establishment in 2016. We also have a wonderful hand-selected wine list to enhance your dining experience. Approximately eighty-percent of our menu is-- or can be-- gluten-free, as we use only canola and olive oil in all of our cooking. Some of our best-selling dishes are our southern fried chicken, grilled meatloaf, and crab cakes-- all which are gluten free! Other menu favorites include our deviled eggs, firecracker shrimp, Atlantic grilled salmon, roasted pork tenderloin, and penne pasta with andouille sausage & shrimp. Celebrating the Christmas holiday with family. The cocktails were amazing. I highly recommend the filet mignon and New York strip. Our server, Parker D, was attentive and made wonderful recommendations regarding cocktails and entrees.

We had a lovely pre Christmas lunch there today. The food was excellent and the wait staff were really very nice. We had chicken entrees and both (parmigiana and marsala) and both were excellent. Lots of food so we had leftovers for the next day. Definitely putting this on our repeat visit list.
