The Red Cow is one of the few pubs which has lasted over 80 years and is still standing! Our staff are notorious for the friendly service, along with the pub being known for it’s homely atmosphere and pure, authentic Punjabi cuisine. The kitchen staff prepare the cuisine with such love and care that you can taste it! The authentic Punjabi food is prepared using traditional methods such as cooking in a clay tandoor and preparing the food with organic, traditional Punjabi herbs and spices.

Please ask at the bar for more details on arrivalLocated on the ground floor directly off main reception Faradays offers a lunch menu from midday, and ala carte dinner menu alongside a selection of daily specials served each evening from 5.30pm to 9.15pm, which enables our of brigade of Chefs the opportunity to showcase their talents. The bar opens at midday and serves until 11pm after which time guests will be required to show proof of residency to obtain service. Bar closing time is at the discretion of the hotel management team each night. The patio overlooking the Waterfront provides panoramic views of the canal basin and should the weather turn inclement then you can still enjoy the outdoors in one of our new dining pods.

Such a warm welcome by Matteo and his team. The food was exceptional, the service was friendly, but not intrusive. I’ve been coming here for many years and have never disappointed.

A group of 10 of us went today for the Christmas 3 course lunch which was lovely. Between us we sampled most of what was on offer and all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The service was good and the courses came with a reasonable gap between, not too long or too short. I have a minor food allergy which I had mentioned when I booked and they were very careful to find out details and work out how to serve my food so that it would not be a problem for me! A great lunch to celebrate Christmas with some good friends!

Great food and service. Quick service from friendly staff. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. e had Chicken Liver Pate and Lamb Koftas to start and then a Spicy Chicken Burger with fries & Fish & Chips. Didn't have any room for dessert.
