A chic and sophisticated décor provides the setting for our distinctive "world cuisine", a provocative mix of zesty influences that creates a delightful dining experience in Palm Springs, California. Plush high-backed semicircular banquettes surround our dining room and offer comfortable and private seating. The cuisine has a light, exotic feel with an emphasis on Pacific Rim specialties, from Chilean Sea Bass baked in Banana Leaves or Kahlua-Barbecued Pork Chops to all sorts of tasty tapas, salads, wood-fired pizzas, and desserts. Established in the heart of Palm Springs at the foot of the San Jacinto Mountains, Le Vallauris has been one of the highest rated restaurants in the Coachella Valley since its inception in 1973. The exquisite cuisine at Le Vallauris is prepared by Executive Chef, Gabriel Morales, Award winning Angeleno Chef who has replaced the long time Chef Jean Paul Laire as he retired in 2024. The Historic Landmark was built in 1927 as a home for the Roberson family, who managed Palm Springs' first hotel, The Desert Inn. Many grand parties were held in the house for guests such as Duke Ellington, Nat King Cole, Louis Armstrong and many more. Later on, when the restaurant was established it became a favourite place for Presidents and the Hollywood elite, and local socialites.

    We had some issues with the food we ordered and our server was more than accommodating. They did a wonderful job of making it right for us. We had the lobster Mac and cheese and it was phenomenal! The soup of the day was cream of mushroom with a truffle oil and it was to die for. Definitely check them out.

    This is our favorite restaurant in Palm Springs! The food is amazing. I had grilled prawns over a bed of pasta with a garlic sauce. The prawns were just delicious, so tender and scrumptious. My strawberry lemon drop was amazing. The last time we were here I had the raspberry lemon drop and it too was incredible. We love, love the food here and the service is lightning fast. We can’t wait to try another new dish — kudos to the chef !!

    Everything was splendid. Best schnitzel we’ve had in a long time. We didn’t care for our apple strudel but that could be just personal taste. But all in all, we will be back again.

    Love this quaint gem. Love the food presentation. My girlfriends and I celebrated our Galentine’s there and they are already planning on coming back. Our waitress was very friendly as well as the supervisor, Tara.
