Walk-in's always welcome! Screen Door is a restaurant that presents itself as a love letter to the American South and the revival of regional cooking. Each day, the restaurant receives natural, local organic meats and produce from nearby vendors. The inclusion of regional Pacific Northwest ingredients into a menu of dishes developed in the south has created a unique flavor profile in Screen Door's menu. Many of Screen Doors dishes draw their inspiration from Louisiana and the Cajun cooking that's found there. These include our world-famous fried chicken, Lowcountry shrimp and grits, smoked andouille chicken gumbo and fried okra. Other items, like the house-smoked beef brisket and braised pork shoulder, come straight from the state of Texas. Once again, we had a wonderful Thanksgiving Dinner at Jake's Famous Crawfish. We come her often for dinner and it never disappoints us. Food and service is consistently good. Our server, Charlotte, remembered us from a previous visits and again, did a fabulous job in taking care of us, as well as others, as I observed.

Amazing Thanksgiving meal - every bite was delicious. And the cocktails too. We ate outside with a dog, and it was cold in spite of the heat lamps, but otherwise it was a simply perfect dining experience! Loved the decor inside, especially the framed handwritten recipes from the owner's grandmother (reminded me of ones I have from my grandmother!)

This was our second time celebrating Thanksgiving in the restaurant. We were very pleased with the excellent, friendly service provided by Anni and the entire staff. The food was delicious with very generous portions. In all, a wonderful experience.

Loved both the ambiance and the food, which is a rare combination for me to find! Best wings I’ve ever tasted as appetizers and the salmon as a main plate was incredible. It was my son’s birthday and the lovely hostess had thoughtfully sprinkled confetti on the table before we arrived. May this restaurant live long and prosper!
