Owner Brian Piccini is proud of his award-winning Restaurant & Bar, Deuxave in the Back Bay. The inspiration behind the restaurant’s American Nouveau Cuisine is seasonality, with a focus on working with the finest farms and purveyors, sourcing out the freshest, local ingredients and amplifying their magnificence. Forcella is bringing old-world Italian food to the North End of Boston.Nino Trotta — who owns Forcella alongside his girlfriend, general manager and co-owner Shannon MacGowan, and his brother, wine director Christian Trotta — say that the cozy, candlelit vibe of the restaurant sets Forcella apart in a sea of massive North End restaurants.“It’s tiny, 30 seats,” he said. “It’s perfect for a date.”The kitchen team has designed a menu that includes dishes from all over Italy, with a slight lean toward Naples, where the Trotta family is from. We have never gone out to eat on Thanksgiving but our circumstances this year required us to do so. We chose Deuxave because of their menu and the quality of their food. We were not disappointed! My husband had the traditional Thanksgiving meal and I had Salmon with yummy side dishes. The food was awesome and the service was outstanding. It made for a very enjoyable time.

We had the most amazing first experience of being in the USA and celebrating Thanksgiving, aswell as celebrating my 40th Birthday. The food and service provided was exceptional and I truly hope to return one day. This is a food experience and trip that I will remember forever. Thank you Abe's and Louis!

Absolutely loved our server - we’ve had her twice now and she’s been super helpful, hilarious, and attentive both times. I’m ashamed I can’t recall her name at the moment - but the third time we go I’ll be sure to remember!

First time visit … 11/10! Simply fantastic experience from start to finish - food, ambiance and staff were all fantastic!!! Adrian, our server, was friendly, attentive yet not intrusive at all. Peter, the GM, took us to our table, made some menu suggestions and checked back in the evening to see how our experiences was going, if anything needed and thanked us for joining them. Can’t wait to return!

I have traveled the world and this restaurant was the best food I have ever had in my life!! Also, our waitress, Sarah, was so sweet and efficient!! I will be dreaming about this food! Can’t wait to come back!! PS - get the gnocchi with rabbit… you’ll thank me later!
