A great burger, exceptionally pleasant service and a welcoming ambiance, The French Roast has become one if our faves on the UWS. And I'm certainly not in my own with this opinion! Very popular, even on an early Monday night; reservations recommended.

Chance is the best waiter! He is kind, knowledgeable and served us with so much grace. He made sure our brunch was pleasant and accommodating. Thank you Chance!

Excellent experience ! The food was amazing , escargot was top notch . The short rib raviolis were also amazing. Service was fantastic. Highly recommend , great place to eat especially before our show at the Beacon theatre !

It's an amazing restaurant from the food, service and ambiance. Our waiter was great, gave us very nice recommendations and options. The food is delicious, we tried a few of the appetizers and they are a good portion for sharing. Our dinner plates didn't disappoint. We also enjoyed the drinks, especially the Smoke & Fire (if you like Mezcal).

It is one of my favorite restaurants in NYC - i have never had a bad meal or bad service, whether it was a mid-week lunch or a dinner on Saturday night. I hate to give it such a good review, it will be harder to get a table.
