The cuisine at Chef Jean-Georges’ abc kitchen reflects a passionate commitment to the freshest organic and local ingredients possible.     One of our favorite places. Food is good and fresh. But today we got a little disappointed. We ordered kani salad and it wasn't fresh. It was very cold, like it was from the freezer and all the ingredients were over frozen.

    The dinner was spectacular in every way. Hygge in New York! The atmosphere was cozy, congenial and filled with Christmas cheer. Flowers and soft candle light everywhere. The punterelle salad was perfectly dressed with ample anchovies, the sea bream en papillote was tender and infused with deep flavor. Add a perfectly balanced negroni sbagliatto to start and the evening was perfect.

    The food is always excellent. I felt sorry for the staff; the service was terrific, but they were understaffed, even though it's a small restaurant. I am unsure how they managed on a busy weeknight during the holiday season, but kudos to the manager/owner.

    We went at lunchtime so restaurant was pretty empty. The service was excellent! Especially Ricardo! Food was delicious and plentiful! We had a great time! The only issue was the address was a bit confusing as the restaurant entrance was actually on E 19th which was not specified. Would highly recommend!!
