Owners Chef Sarah Stegner & Chef George Bumbaris created this casual Northbrook restaurant, boasting a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere.     This was our first visit to the new Ema Restaurant in Glenview. We were celebrating our daughter’s birthday. The restaurant decor was beautiful, the server Ellie was very friendly and helpful in explaining our choices on the menu. Our meal was delicious and we enjoyed our selections and were happy with the delicious Greek Yogurt dessert for the birthday girl which we all happily shared with her. We give Ema 10 stars and will be returning and we will recommend your restaurant to everyone! The Kupperman Family

    Outstanding dinner after Botanical light show! Really great food! Brussels sprouts and burrata appetizers were both wonderful as were the fish and chips. Cocktails great too. Service was just wonderful. Great experience at a fine price point!

    Bluegrass was a pleasant surprise. Great variety on menu and the waitress explained options well. Met the owner Joanie and manager tableside checking on us and learning about each other. Bar service good with Hurricane and ale. Our party of two dined on pulled pork sandwich, Rémoulade Salad topped with lump crab and added a serving of fried crawfish. Delicious! Tried the shot of Gumbo and was not disappointed. Finished with gifted serving of Chocolate Chip Bread Pudding. Going back to try more southern menu choices.
