Levan is a restaurant in the heart of Peckham serving contemporary European dishes, inspired by the ‘bistronomy’ movement and our favourite eateries in Paris, Copenhagen, Barcelona, Stockholm and Berlin, with a focus on low intervention wines. Join us for dinner and lunch in a warm and inviting atmosphere. We offer an a la carte menu and a £59pp chefs tasting menu. Groups over 5 will be asked to dine from the chefs menu. The intimate atmosphere and sensational staff have made Babur a favourite dining destination with Forest Hill locals, and the food is worth making a trip across town for. Booked on website yet price was increased on the day! Pushed empty water bottle to edge of table but no more water offered for two more courses until I asked then just one glass full given. When querying the price I was told they had forgot to update the website which was still showing the earlier price but no adjustment offered!

Recently went to the Hare & Billet for a lovely roast, was excited to see they offer a vegan wellington roast as an option online. However was disappointed upon learning that it’s no longer an option and had been taken off the menu when we were getting our orders taken. Luckily we had a fantastic server, Nathaniel who went above and beyond to offer options so that I could still enjoy the roast that I’d be looking forward too with a few tweaks here and there. Ended up having a lovely meal regardless! Thank you, Nathaniel & chefs at the Hare & Billet!
