La Palombe is a new neighbourhood bistro from restaurateur James Chiavarini (also of Il Portico) & chef patron Jake Leach (previously head chef at the three Michelin starred The Ledbury).A large wood burning grill takes center stage where the majority of the dishes are cooked over live embers. James & Jake work together every shift to serve dishes with a real sense of terroir and provenance, including our speciality of wild foods foraged ourselves. Expect wild noisette venison, Wiltshire truffles (thanks to our house truffle dog Alba!), rare woodland mushrooms, and much wonderful produce from our small organic farm in Kent.The wine list is sourced entirely from independent producers, and regularly updated with a specialised focus on low intervention, natural and biodynamic wines.We are across the road to the Design Museum & Holland Park, a 10 minute walk from Kensington Olympia and a short distance to the Royal Albert Hall.

Villa di Geggiano has for more than five centuries, been renowned for hospitality and generosity as well as delicious food and sumptuous wines. Located at the heart of Tuscany, it has a history of exporting mouth-watering wines to England, having been possibly the very first to bring Chianti here in 1725. The menu features true Tuscan cuisine, with many of the ingredients being imported especially from the Villa and surrounding farms. Prepared with passion by a hand-picked crew, these maestros employ traditional techniques to recreate the essence of Siena.     7 of us had a pre-Christmas family get together. The Ladbroke Arms never disappoints. The menu was varied and interesting - catering for everyone - the brown prawn crumpet was amazing, the burger is always great and the flatiron steak amazing too. The staff are lovely and also efficient - even when the place is packed. Atmosphere is just great - a mix of ages, lively but you can still have a conversation. Exceptional value for money and just a great evening. Well done!

    We had an amazing evening at Villa Di Geggiano! From the moment we entered the service was impeccable. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, general ambiance pleasant. Nothing was too much trouble and we left having had a wonderful meal and a lovely evening!

    This must be the best restaurant not just in Kensington, not just in West London but in the entire city of London. This is now my third time and the food is consistently outstanding - I'll be back for a fourth time

    The food is outstanding - combos you wouldn’t think works but oh my word it really does!!! Value for money too and the service is mint. This is the second time I’ve been, and I brought my fuzzy friends. The ones who will complain about anything and everything. They had not a single bad word to say. (I hardly ever suggest places to eat because I can’t deal with the complaining if they aren’t happy with … the draft, the speed of service and what not - however I was confident in taking them here. And it didn’t disappoint!!) 15/10!!
