La Palombe is a new neighbourhood bistro from restaurateur James Chiavarini (also of Il Portico) & chef patron Jake Leach (previously head chef at the three Michelin starred The Ledbury).A large wood burning grill takes center stage where the majority of the dishes are cooked over live embers. James & Jake work together every shift to serve dishes with a real sense of terroir and provenance, including our speciality of wild foods foraged ourselves. Amazing food from starter to dessert. We were a party of 4 and tried 4 different main courses- monkfish, venison, duck and rabbit. All were done so nicely. Great chat with the chef afterwards. The only shame is not knowing this place before and come earlier. Enjoy!

The staff were sooo accomodating.. we had booked for 3 people, but then had to change to 5 at last minute.. witht the restaurant at full capacity, they offered us the lounge area where they moved 2 tables together and accomodated us. Great service, food & cocktails.. definitely, will return back.
