Just opened 14 Feb 2022!Walking into Emilia’s Wood Wharf will be like entering a bustling trattoria in Italy’s Emilia Romagna region with an ambience created by natural terracotta-plastered walls bathed in natural light, rustic Iroko furniture, creamy crema marfil marble counters and hand-painted Italian tiles. Chefs making fresh pasta greet diners at the window in a special dedicated custom-made area visible from all sides. The thoughtfully designed interior cleverly combines a vibrant bar area with a custom table bocce for some competitive socialising in half the restaurant, with a cosy rustic restaurant section for more intimate moments and lingering conversations. The custom-designed kitchen and bar areas will be fully open for diners to watch the theatrics of drinks and dishes being freshly prepared. We usually go to our local pub in Kidbrooke for our Christmas meal, but having been to The Hare and Billet on several occasions for an excellent Sunday roast, we thought we would give it a go this year and we were not disappointed. We pre-ordered our food from their set menu along with a couple of glasses of champagne. We felt welcome upon arrival and the table was ready. The champagne came out very promptly followed by starters which were delicious. The mains and desserts were also served promptly and tasted great. The chips we had ordered were a bit odd but didn’t detract from the overall experience. I really appreciate the service, which is always confident and direct, the guys know how to do their jobs properly and are up for a chat. Would recommend and will return.

Beautiful surroundings to have a leisurely meal before going to the theatre. Very attentive staff. Food was delicious, a little pricey but OK for a special occasion. Toilets spotless!

Heerlijk gegeten. Lekker verse pasta en een heerlijke Pannetone als toetje. Het andere toetje was al bereid (uit de koeling) dat was het enige minpuntje. Dat is vers toch echt lekkerder. Maar overall heerlijk gegeten!

Everything was great. The comte frites and the bread were amazing at the start - the butter was to die for. The beef starter was superb and tender and the tomato starter was equally as good. We then shared the monkfish and the gnocchi which were both 10/10. The sauce on both was outrageous. Would like to come back Not overly priced

We had another wonderful meal sat Butler's Wharf Chop House. The service, food and setting were all amazing. We are outside under a heater with a wonderful view of Tower Bridge.
