Westerns Laundry is a Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant focusing on seafood & natural wines. The restaurant is located in the Islington/Highbury neighbourhood of North London. It opened in 2018 and is housed in a 1950's industrial building which used to be home to the largest commercial laundry in North London. Couldn’t have chose a better restaurant to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Anastasia was our personal host. She greeted us with a smile and she went above and beyond. The staff was friendly and professional - the food and drinks were exquisite. Some of our favourites were: crispy rice with guacamole and truffle as well as cauliflower bang bang taco. Also, the panacota was top notch. We will be coming back!

Very tasty and well-presented food, but glad we didn’t order as much as we were advised we would need. All served at good intervals and there was no rush on the return of the table. We all agreed the wine was very expensive so we chose the house white, which was disappointingly thin and served from an unmarked and open bottle. (Needs to be more choice at the under £50 a bottle end!)

Lovely venue. Warmly greeted and shown to our table. We were the first and ambience was extremely quiet. A good display of sandwiches both iriginal and vegetarian. Felt the sandwiches was made in advance as the bread had crusted. We ate them anyway. Cakes were lovely but small portions. But my friend and I had a lovely time catching up.
