Westerns Laundry is a Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant focusing on seafood & natural wines. The restaurant is located in the Islington/Highbury neighbourhood of North London. It opened in 2018 and is housed in a 1950's industrial building which used to be home to the largest commercial laundry in North London. This was my 2nd visit. Truly impressed with every aspect so we treated a friend for her birthday. We were a table of 4 and we all loved the food, drinks and personal service. We done to all at salut. We WILL be returning soon.

We got the roast, the chicken one looked a bit anaemic but the beef was tasty. Live music playing which was a nice atmosphere. There were some dogs allowed in which didn’t bother us. Service was great in the beginning and then after we asked for the dessert menu, we never saw the server again .

A great evening at KARV. We booked for my husband's birthday and happy to say it was absolutely worth the hour + drive. A nice intimate restaurant, tables a good distance away. The service from staff was spot on. They were attentive without being over bearing. We ordered both tacos and the marrow and the were delicious. The flavours of the tacos were nice and the slaw and sauces complemented the meats. The marrow was (if I may say) sublime! The combinations of flavours was just an explosion in the mouth and perfect with the toast! We ordered the platter for 4 which was a perfect size. Both steak were perfectly cooked/seasoned, the mash melted in the mouth, chips were crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy inside. The chicken wings were nicely spiced with a tangy undertone. The chicken was a nice size and tasted nice and had a lovely charred taste, All in all I would definitely be back and would recommend it.
