Ettore Vino e Cucina is the first restaurant and wine tasting room from Ettore Winery, a boutique organic estate and winery in Mendocino, CA, spearheaded by Italian-born winemaker Ettore Biraghi and Sofia Rivier.In collaboration with Los Angeles' beloved Italian restaurant, Osteria Mamma, Ettore Vino e Cucina brought on Chef Mònica Angelats Coll, a culinary expert with a unique background blending aerospace engineering and fine dining, to lead the kitchen. A.O.C. is a small plates restaurant driven by seasonal ingredients, locally sourced. Our California French cuisine was developed by Chef Suzanne Goin, and also features Mediterranean influences. We have 24 wines by the glass and 150 bottles to choose from, curated by Caroline Styne, all of which are either organic, biodynamic or sustainable. Featuring a full bar with premium spirits and specialty cocktails. AOC is proud to offer both outdoor and indoor dining. The four of us were very impressed with our dinner at Bacari 3rd st. Every dish that came out was delicious, we particularly noted the brussels sprouts and the lamb hummus as well as the mushroom pizza. A must have is “the best cake” with ice cream. Our cocktails were well made and the service was very attentive. And to top it off, receiving the check wasn’t painful. Fun outdoor atmosphere and would definitely go again. Thank you!

Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious! We started with the octopus and the caviar. While the octopus was decent, it was slightly overcooked and just okay. In our opinion, the Little Door Caviar was the standout starter—its flavor was far superior. For mains, the Branzino was perfection—crispy and flaky on the outside, tender and soft on the inside. The ribeye was equally fantastic, cooked beautifully and packed with flavor. We finished the meal with the crème brûlée, which was the perfect dessert—smooth, creamy, and with a perfectly caramelized top. The service was impeccable, making the evening truly special. We celebrated my friend’s birthday, and it was a memorable experience from start to finish. We’ll definitely be back!
