Enjoy the spectacular views while you relax in our casual, open-air dining environment. Along with our menu offerings inspired by local fare, we have several signature cocktails available that are made with our own, Ocean Vodka, Kula Rum, Fy Gin, and Brum spirits.We have a 15 minute grace period. We have limited inside seating and vast options for outside seating. If you have a preference between inside or outside seating, please leave us a note in your reservation. Aloha, we are open daily from 11:00am to 10:00pm, with our last seating available at 9:45pm. We accept reservations & reserve a large amount of space for walk-ins. If your desired reservation is not available, please join our waitlist in person daily. Happy Hour is available daily from 3:30pm-5:00pm (excluding select holidays). Our chef driven concept is led by the classically trained, award winning chef, Peter Merriman. Peter is a culinary pioneer and one of the founders of Hawaii Regional Cuisine. He has always been inspired by the people and products around him and this spirit has lead the movement to look at food in Hawaii in a new light. Monkeypod Kitchen by Merriman embraces this passion! Each item on the menu demonstrates our commitment to craft and showcases high quality, socially conscious ingredients, creative preparations, and perfect execution.

On Wednesdays and Thursdays, we pause our lunch service at 4pm and resume at 4:30pm for sunset service. Both reservations and walk-ins are welcome. On Fridays and Saturdays, the dining room closes at 3pm and dinner reservations begin at 5:30pm

Brilliantly innovative Thai cooking on the world's favorite island! Chef Prakong brings her artisan's skills to Maui Thai Bistro, a contemporary (and kitsch-free) Thai restaurant in South Maui. Brilliant lunch fare includes exotic tomyum fried rice, kao mun gai (chicken rice w tangy sauce), kiawe-smoked ribeye fried rice, drunken rice noodles, a truly authentic padthai, and much much more. Dinner features Prakong's artisanal homemade curries with a modern island twist, including to-die-for dishes as macnut short ribs panang, seared ahi choochee, pineapple kua curry, and plenty more.

    If you’re looking for outdoor seating in a friendly atmosphere and a setting to beat the band, look no further than Maui Ocean Vodka. From the wide array of tropical drinks, made with their own smooth brand of gluten free vodka, as well as other spirits, to delectable appetizers and main offerings, loved by both carnivores and herbivores alike, as well as delicious gluten free pizza, there’s something to tickle the taste buds of just about everyone. Most evenings offer talented local musicians to add to the ambience. Reservations aren’t necessary, but are recommended.

    Loves every minute of our visit to MonkeyPod. Seated immediately on the side patio. Jess greeted us and brought us 3 Mai tais and a whiskey sour - delicious! Then we shared a Gem Salad and a Brocli Salad - both delicious but the Brocli was so unique we all agreed it was the best. Fish Tacos, Fish and Chops and Macademia Nut encrusted Mahi Mahi we all excellent but my Rib Eye was over the top. Cooked to perfection. We had a bottle of Tempranillo which paired well with everything and topped it all off with Banana Cream pie. Would recommend the entire meal all over again. Jess was an excellent waitress!
