The ambiance, competence, food knowledge of the staff, and an excellent menu (both food and wine) always meet high expectations. Recently, I had a simple lunch: a Croque Madame and some pinot noir. The pinot was very good, and the Croque Madame was as good as I have ever had. I also have had many lovely dinners at the Brasserie—a midtown favorite for me, my wife, and numerous friends. I had the ravioli which was fantastic with a lovely hint of lemon. The lasagna was amazing and the pasta our friend had was enough for her for this meal and dinner!
