The setting, the service, the pacing of the meal and the fresh, farm raised offerings were excellent. The prix fixe menu offered two starters per person and a main, or a starter/main/dessert. The amount of food was too generous and guidance on portion sizes would have been helpful. We enjoyed the starters immensely but they were quite large. The main courses - pork and lamb - were delicious but busy - again substantial and might benefit from a simpler presentation. The bowl of root veggies that came with the mains was yummy but we could not finish it.
