Bata is a restaurant designed to celebrate the best our region has to offer. We cook over a live oak fire, on our custom fabricated hearth. Our menu changes daily. We mill AZ grown grain in house, daily. We focus on whole animal butchery, done in house. We have an extensive fermentation program. Our bar program largely focuses on wines that are organic, biodynamic, and produced with minimal intervention. The cocktail list highlights the best products of the season, with a carefully curated list of spirits from across the globe. Food was excellent, hot fresh garlic twists our pastas were spot ion. Pasta “zoodles” Promavera great option if you’re on the GF or low-carb watch. GF pizza dough from a local baker as well. Highly recommended

Bata is hands-down our favorite restaurant in Tucson. There is nowhere else in town that is as creative with their menu as the team at Bata, and they do it using local suppliers and farmers. The menu is always an adventure and the entire staff is professional, talented and kind.

Our late lunch on Christmas Eve was delicious- the waitstaff was cheerful, friendly and apologetic when the dessert that we came in for was ‘sold out’ - (the squash pie) which was very disappointing especially in a holiday eve! -though understandable ☮️

Pleace was great but there was a lot of noise coming from one table but we got thru it. Food was great and service was great. Would go again and tell my friends about the place.
