Old Town Scottsdale’s heart beats to a Latin drum at The Mission where renowned Chef Matt Carter (Zinc Bistro and Fat Ox) brings a modern twist to Latin cuisine blending influences from Spain, Mexico, Central America and South America.     Met some friends for dinner. We enjoyed a cocktail at the Bar before we were seated. The service was excellent. Once seated our server Evan was amazing. He was very knowledgeable of the menu and was attentive. The food was really great. I had the Shortrib with a side of Polenta. Absolutely delicious. They had an extensive Wine list with some of our favorite Italian wines. We're definitely returning and requesting him as our server.

    We always have the large shrimp cocktail- it’s so delicious & they bring us fresh horseradish on request! We also enjoy the noble buns with salted butter & usually have the roasted half chicken- with mashed potatoes & veggies = always delicious. We enjoy sitting at the bar watching sports and all the bar tenders are amazing. One our favorite places to eat in Scottsdale!

    We went to breakfast there today and we had one meal that wasn’t cooked the best and the server and the manager were fantastic about it. They turned a not so great experience into an unforgettable experience. They were just fabulous and it just goes to show you what kind of place Olive and Ivy is, Top Notch! I wish I remember the name of the server and the manager. We will definitely be back!!

    Fantastic meal, service and vibe! Entire staff was friendly - not just our servers. No complaints about a single thing. Our main server, Jeffrey was very nice to chat with and he was so attentive, it seemed he was always at our table when we needed anything. Don't skip the guacamole or grits! We all had beef entrees which were cooked perfectly and couldn't have tasted any better. Our birthday dessert was a pumpkin bread pudding and it was so delicious I might even like bread pudding now!
