A true Adam Handling restaurant in style, the menu showcases the best of British produce with a huge emphasis on sustainable practices, featuring ingredients from its own vegetable gardens and orchard. Adam’s take on a traditional British pub, The Loch & the Tyne is open 5 days a week, from Wednesday to Sunday. The pub offers a relaxed and cosy space where guests can pop in for a quick drink or retreat for the day trying out the thoughtfully-curated list of local craft beers and wine. We very much celebrate English wines, both still and sparkling.We are dog and children friendly pub. You’ll find Plate at No. 6 down a cobbled lane in the heart of Windsor, nestled amongst the pubs and boutiques of the old town. We are a tapas restaurant, drawing upon the culinary riches of the Mediterranean Basin; our plates reflect the diversity of cuisines found in Spain, Turkey, France, Morocco, Italy, Greece and Lebanon. As always the food (especialy the Christmas specials) is excellent however the last couple of visits have been marred by the slow service today with having only mains taking over 90 mins from sitting down to our plates being cleared and then only after asking for the bill. Disappointing and will have to avoid for business lunches in the future.

A unique little restaurant with a good vibe. Good atmosphere and friendly service. Mains were reasonably priced but sides felt expensive for the size portion (red cabbage for example). The meat eaters enjoyed their mains (pork belly/chicken supreme) but I wouldn’t recommend place for vegetarians. Only one main (celeriac steak) that really wasn’t very nice. I’ve been vegetarian for 25plus years and don’t consider myself picky but I couldn’t finish it. I would go back if the vegetarian options were improved/more diverse.

Good parking availability. Friendly staff and they know their food, which they can explain what the dishes are. Very good service, staff kept checking and make sure your water are topped up. Good quality food, definitely enough for a normal person. Tried the fish and chips and it was perfectly cooked.

Dining with girl friends on a Wednesday night so not busy. Excellent food. Great service but not too intrusive. I had three courses and finished them all which I never normally do. I'd recommend it for small or large groups. We will definitely be going back.
