In Italian, the word, Secondo means “the second part of a duet.” When we opened Panico’s Bistro, we knew we wanted to eventually add some harmony to our original melody and so, Secondo is the continuation of our long-standing tradition to serve classic Italian cuisine in concert with Mediterranean influences right here in Cape May County. Nested beautifully on the bay, enjoy dinner and hand-handcrafted cocktails; inside in our sophisticated dining room or outside on our covered patio next to the harbor and water. Reservations recommended. Walk-ins are accepted based on availability. We will do our best to accommodate requests for seating preferences and/or outside dining, but they cannot be guaranteed based on limited outdoor seating.     What an elegant restaurant in decor! The staff is warm and friendly! Starting with our hostess and our server, Chris! Chris makes us feel so welcomed and remembered us from our last time in August! He truly cares that we have what we need and we’re completely satisfied! The food was perfectly delicious! Will be back in late Spring when we visit Cape May again!

    What a beautiful, festive setting. Lily, our server, was a delight. The menu is creative and extensive. The beet salad was delicious with thinly sliced beets and radishes over arugula. Light, tasty dressing. The filet as cooked perfectly. It was tender and delicious. The meatloaf is a signature dish and it did not disappoint. Panna cotta for desert was yummy. Can’t say enough about this restaurant. Perfect!!

    I have been to the Avalon Gold Club numerous times for lunch. I enjoyed each visit. Today I was there for the Thanksgiving buffet. There were many food choices to pick from. Everything I had was absolutely delicious. Even though alot of people were seated the place was remarkably quiet - so you got to enjoy your meal and conversation with people at your table. I am returning twice in December - once for my birthday and the other Christmas Eve day and I look forward to each visit.
