Saba (meaning happy meeting place) is a Thai and Vietnamese eatery and cocktail bar. It is located at 22 Upper Baggot Street in Dublin 4 on the banks of the Grand canal beside the Aviva and RDS Stadium. It is situated on a beautiful Victorian street with lots of interesting shops, cafes, restaurants and many of Dublin’s most famous historic pubs.Don’t worry about the weather, in our Secret Garden, we have you covered rain or shine. We’d a big group of 18 people, the staff were quick with orders and bringing out plates and drinks! The Christmas decorations were so nice too! Highly recommend!

Lovely restaurant and food was great. The issue was when we arrived and said we had a booking, the person serving us couldn’t find it. When I showed him the email confirmation of the booking he said the hotel doesn’t really use open table as a booking platform but he would try and accommodate us. We asked if we could sit outside and we’re told there was no tables. There were clearly two tables outside not being used and when we asked if we could sit at one of them he agreed. It was an unusual first few minutes, but following on from that everything was great.
