Toku’s cuisine is predominantly Japanese with influences from China, Korea, and South East Asia. Ingredients and cooking techniques throughout the world create the Modern Asian menu. Owners Gillis and George Poll have dined all over the world, and have come across a variety of dishes that have really impressed them, “the best of the best.” According to Gillis, “We put together our favorites and added our own unique twists to them.” George emphasizes the menu’s ease and variety. “It’s a straightforward, casually written menu which allows you to dine any way that you’d like.” Guests may enjoy traditional meals with an appetizer, entree and dessert, or dine exclusively on sushi. We live in the area and were going out for Thanksgiving Dinner . The restaurant is beautiful from the outside and there’s a lot of good word of mouth regarding the food . We were greeted and seated as soon as we came in the door and our order was taken reasonably fast . We had wine with our price fixed dinners which included appetizers, entrees , and desserts. Everything was hot delicious and beautifully plated . When it came to dessert we weren’t offered coffee first and we would have also ordered espresso martinis but the waiter plopped the desert down and never came back .We even asked someone to get our waiter so we could place a drink order but they never came back . I think they definitely dropped the ball at the end but our tip was generous and we were polite but I think we may give this place another try one day just on the basis of the food itself . After the first two courses we were ghosts , so we’ll see . Happy Thanksgiving Everyone

Enjoyed dinner in the bar room with 6 of us. Food, ambiance and service were great. It was a Monday night and still very busy. Highly recommend Thai mussels, butternut squash soup (special) and eggplant chips for apps. Main dish was a snapper special and was very good. Overall great evening.
