Beautiful Modern Mediterranean restaurant by Chefs Laura and Sayat (Star Chefs and San Francisco Chronicle Rising Stars) at the Main Parade Lawn in the heart of the Presidio National Park. The restaurant's menus feature Presidio-inspired seasonal craft cocktails, a progressive wine menu, and a cuisine that balances the comfort of familiar Mediterranean flavors with California sensibilities. In cohesion with the Presidio National Park, the design features soft, natural colors; repurposed furniture items from the Presidio; and a mural and a hand-drawn wall paper by Bay Area artist Emily Parkinson.     The food is delicious and creative,not the usual predictable far. The chef owner is from Turkey. The breaking of bread appetizer with various Turkish spread like hummus, smoked red pepper compote, olives and pickled vegetables was such fun to share. I had the Anatolian pasta dish with mushrooms, hazelnuts and winter squash while my friend had lamb ribs.

    My husband and I have been wanted by to go to Nopa for over a year now, but reservations have been hard to get. I finally tried to get one for my husband’s birthday and we were in luck. The wait was worth it. The drinks and food was ABSOLUTELY incredible. Everything we ordered was delicious, and we can’t wait to go back. What a GEM!

    We absolutely love the flavors and food presentation at FC. It's a fun spot, especially with the casual outdoor seating. The selection of international wines is fantastic. If you're coming with a large group, you're sure to have a great time. We've had many memorable family dinners here and always look forward to the next one!
