It’s Italia opened in 1997 as a San Francisco style trattoria and pizzeria serving gourmet pizzas, house pastas, and creative salads, always with a California Italian flavor.Thirteen years later, having moved into the beautiful Half Moon Bay Inn on Main Street Half Moon Bay, our menu has expanded to include seafood and meat selections from our rotisserie and mesquite grill, artful pastas and award winning pizza, creative salads and antipasti, and an array of house desserts.     Todo lo que pedimos muy rico, las ostiones super frescas, el Halibut delicioso. Las entradas nos parecieron muy chicas en comparación con el precio…. Quizá solo pediría del bar de la barra de mariscos crudos, y luego platos fuertes y no las entradas Premiere… los postres muy buenos!!

    We really enjoyed our dinner, especially the grilled octopus! Our sever was awesome and made some great recommendations for dinner and appetizers. It was really a wonderful evening with a great meal. We’ll definitely come back next time we’re in HMB.

    We had a delightful family dinner at Pasta Moon with our 92-year-old grandfather, and it couldn’t have been more special. Italian cuisine is his favorite, yet this was his first time visiting Pasta Moon—and he absolutely loved it! He ordered the puttanesca, featuring mussels, clams, and scallops, which put a unique and delicious twist on the traditional dish. Another standout was the lasagna, which was a big hit with our group. The portions were incredibly generous, and the service was impeccable—the staff made sure we always had everything we needed. It’s clear why this restaurant has been a beloved favorite for so many years. Pasta Moon truly delivers a memorable dining experience!
