Join Landlord Stuart and Head Chef Helder for breakfast, lunch or supper at the Wattenden Arms. Built over 150 years ago we are a hidden gem close to the famous Kenley Aerodrome. Our “finest hour” was most definitely during the Battle of Britain in World War II, when we were commandeered by the RAF to serve as an auxiliary mess for Fighter Command at RAF Kenley. Today we serve a refreshing range of lager, ale & wines and a menu that reflects the great British pub, using fresh ingredients all cooked to order.     4 words …. King Croissant Club Sarnies. The BEST invention I’ve ever seen on a menu !! Absolutely delicious, literally so scrumptiously good. I had the Royale with Cheese, this bad boy was the cure to all my hangovers and sad days, I will forever be thinking about it. The sausage patty was so juicy and flavourful, the hash brown inside was out the gate. And then throw it all together inside a croissant bun, you just can’t go wrong. It was AMAZING My friend had the Chicken Royale and she said it was just as delicious (maybe even more? But I don’t believe her because mine couldn’t be bet) …. Will be back to give it a go!! Also guys, just the general vibe of The Apollo Arms is gorgeous, such a fun and chilled out place but also very classy - the perfect gastropub 🙌 A big thank you to Freddie who poured some marvellous drinks and was always happy to help (best service we’ve had in London)! And our waitress Estella who made us feel so welcome and looked after 🤍 The Apollo Arms = 10/10 King Croissant Club Sarnies = get these on your to do list ASAP
