The first time we visited the Cat I said “this is the nicest pub I’ve ever been to. Today was the same - the most striking first impression is the team who run the dining areas: they obviously enjoy what they’re doing and love working together with a happy buzz. And the food is delicious, the venison haunch especially. Looking forward to eating here again soon - Nigel and the birthday party.

The food was outstanding with very friendly staff just to top it off. A very nice evening all round. So nice to find such a lovely restaurant in close proximity to home.

Food was good, staff attentive, ambience good, only thing we found disappointing was the desert menu, whatever happened to good old fashioned pudds, crumble, sticky toffee pudding etc, nothing on the menu that any of us fancied, but hey, saved the waist line!! Apart from that all good

It’s my favourite place . I absolutely love it . The unique setting and delicious food are just perfect .

Beautiful steak and top class service ,so glad to see the new owners constantly improving and very pleased the restaurant is always busy and supported x
