For some reason, the store keeps claiming they’ve dropped the western alumni discount. We eat at Lonestar’s all over Ontario KINGSTON Lonestar always gives us trouble. It was very nice that they gave the friends and family discount but we are looking for the alumni one thank you.

Spectacular New Year’s Day Brunch! It was our second year attending and won’t be our last. Everything was delicious on a menu that included soup and salads, savoury egg dishes, pancakes, bacon, sausages, homefries and chicken and waffles. Special shoutout to the chef for the homemade pastries - cinnamon rolls, donuts and pain au chocolat. Outstanding! We had a quiet table by the roaring fire and the service was friendly and attentive. Thank you The Ivy! Everything was amazing!

I has wild mushroom Bolognese. It was delicious! The home made pasta was cooked to perfection!

We have an amazing view, the waitress and host were both awesome. The food was great and just the right amount. The downside….we waited just over an hour for our food. The restaurant was not overly busy and other tables that arrived after us were served. To top it off we had a reservation. That was the only hiccup To an otherwise good experience.
