At the Cartford Inn, we offer a brand of hospitality that is truly unique, hallmarked by an award-winning restaurant, boutique hotel, delicatessen and art gallery. Our location is enviable, with guests able to enjoy panoramic views of the Ribble Valley and Fylde countryside whilst dining. Our décor is quirky and eclectic, in keeping with our building’s 17th century heritage, but with a modernist twist. Of course the main attraction is our 2-Rosette winning, Michelin recommended restaurant. Run by head chef Chris Bury, we offer the finest quality food without the fuss, in an atmosphere that is warm and unpretentious. Expect a discernible French influence, evidenced by our renowned French onion soup – a dish that is well worth a visit in its own right.We look forward to welcoming you!

    Great place for birthday bookings and the food is great, staff need to slow down when taking food orders but everything was great

    Always great. Atmosphere and service amazing as always. Bar drinks lively. Starters amazing, masala prawns and crab croquettes. Main chicken nice, main halloumi salad rubbish, all leaves no halloumi burnt cauliflower. Prices so reasonable.

    The perfect dining experience for two. Quality food, service was excellent and space between courses was just right. Loved the restaurant and the atmosphere and staff were friendly, warm and welcoming. Will be back!

    Second time coming, on this occasion valentines. Impeccable food and exceptional service. Had an unfortunate error when ordering which meant we had to reorder. On doing so, we were given many items in the house as an apology whilst the waiting staff apologised profusely. An exceptional restaurant with exceptional staff

    Great value for money. Used the 2-3 course lunch menu with some lovely food choices and apart from the soup being a little salty, we enjoyed our meal. The staff were very attentive and friendly and the place is just lovely
