Carlos@b&v brings the finer side of dining and service to this unique little part of North London, on the Green in Winchmore Hill, a stone's throw from the mainline station of the same name and a short drive from Southgate on the end of the Piccadiily Line. Carlos himself is a restauranteur with flair, having built a reputation in the area over 30 years and so his experience with executing a dynamic and slick establishment brings much to be excited about. Guests will get that familiar 'welcome back' feeling even if they happen to be newcomers. The interiors are comfortably chic but inviting, with a warm ambience and the atmosphere is busy and vibrant. Live music and niche little magic entertainers are a regular occurrence. With an open alfresco feel in the summer, looking out on to the Green itself and a pavement terrace in warmer months too. The menu is Modern European with a specials menu that changes regularly and plenty of choice on the drinks and cocktail menu.

With opulent interiors and a contemporary bar and eatery, we are proud to have become a hub for the local area. It was our 2nd visit to the Script as we enjoyed the first one on Fathers Day very much. Unfortunately we weren’t as happy this time. The lamb in the roast was like a doorstop and the cauliflower cheese was a bit watery and the roast potatoes were a bit underdone. The club sandwich was extremely bad. Not really sure how you can make a club sandwich bad?? A lot of bread and not much inside. The chicken and bacon were very overdone and inedible. All we were offered was a complimentary coffee!

We were welcomed and looked after throughout lunchtime by the staff, even though they were rushed off their feet catering for several large company groups having their Christmas lunches. Despite the large numbers, the food was superb. We have been to Carlos B&V several times in the past when staying locally to look after our grandchildren - it is a treat for all the family.

Perfect. Everything about Judges is just perfect. The staff are very polite and the service is outstanding. Have never had a bad experience here. Food is of good quality and tastes great.

As a local, I felt compelled to write a review. Quite possibly the best afternoon I have had in the pub. I normally visit once or twice a week. The new Manager is absolutely superb, service was excellent and the food was great. Happy party of 6 and as I live in the village, I was very pleased with the service and quality!!
