In 2024, the original location of Petit Trois, on Highland Ave in Hollywood, celebrates 10 years as a beloved, can't miss part of LA's dining scene. Chef/Owner Ludo Lefebvre puts his spin on classic French flavors including the cult-favorite Big Mec burger, swimming in rich Bordelaise sauce, perfectly roasted Heritage chicken with compressed potatoes fried in clarified butter, a French Dip sandwich served with a version of the restaurant's onion soup for dipping, and lots more. Start with the restaurant's housemade baguette served with the creamiest French butter and pair it all with wine from the restaurant's thoughtfully curated list, which includes 16 by the glass options. The Terrace at the famous Sunset Tower Hotel debuted a new look in May of 2018, featuring a refreshed outdoor dining experience with updated furnishings and an elegant new bar. The Tam O’Shanter has always been good. We asked for an outside seating, but today is over cast and cold. Still we sat outdoor under a heater. It was warm enough and private. The Birsket plate at lunch is tone of their best . I had the BBQ scrimp , with grits and collard greens. The greens were to salty but good in general. We had H.H. Brown co=chocolate sauce on vanilla ice cream , ny usband’s favorite.

Magnificent service. Some of the best. The Yule log—sublime! The pigs in a blanket—imagine what that might be like with a master pastry chef! Shrimp cocktail—how often is it merely passable? Here it is of a uniformly exquisite tenderness. I want to say again, the SERVICE. This place is an industry standard but is generally underrated. Visit it again.

Loved the Christmas Eve tasting. Each dish was the star of its own act....I really couldn't pick out a favorite. I love all the flavors and the architecture is so captivating. I felt transported to a different world for one night for a very special foodie experience. Thank you for making this so special for me and my family.
