great food & service music way too loud kinda ruined the ambiance

The service and food was excellent! No leftovers at all and the view of the bay was amazing. Lovely experience and will definitely coming back again!

The food was so delicious I enjoyed the honey chicken I was surprised. I never knew kale could taste so good but the way it was served was good. My partner had the chicken pot pie also he was so surprised so tasty. The Hideout is busy we made a reservation staff was friendly and attentive recommend if you like good food nice place in Layfayette try it you will enjoy it.

Outstanding meal, wonderful service at the bar and at our table. Natural wine, delicious cocktails and incredible egg nog menu. Save room for dessert.

We hadn't been to Rooftop since before covid and were totally wowed. Of course, where else would you want to be on a warm, sunny winter day but perched atop Walnut Creek looking on Mt. Diablo and the surrounding hills. We arrived for lunch and all three of us loved our meals -- the dumpling starter was fantastic, and everyone loved their lunch (shrimp tacos, pappardelle/caesar, salmon/caesar). Our server was fantastic, the support staff attentive, the vibe was chill and the music great. Who could ask for anything more. Rooftop is now at the top of our WC dining list.
