Claudio Pirollo grew up in Belgium where he soon discovered his passion for cooking as he wandered around his father’s fine Italian épicerie (grocery store) and watched his mother prepare dinner every day. The dual influence of Italy and Belgium triggered Chef Pirollo’s aspirations to develop his knowledge and experience with different flavors.A Trattoria is not a pizzeria, it is an Italian-style eating establishment that is generally much less formal than a ristorante but more formal than an osteria. Our family always enjoys our meals. Nice variety and dishes that I can't make as well at home. Cocktails and beer hit the mark The andouille shrimp and grits, seared scallops over butternut risotto, pot roast. and chicken and waffles were all divine. Not a morsel of food was left on our plates. The appetizers of brie jammy onion bread, green tomatoes and biscuits kicked off our meal. This is a reliable casually elegant dinner spot

wonderful food. the special offerings looked wonderful but we opted for the meal we had had previously - a shared salad and Margarehita pizza. both were excellent as before. Claudio's is a real find. I recommend the restaurant highly

Et Viola is one of our favorite neighborhood gems-always a go to for family dinners or simply date night at the bar! The staff is phenomenal with their outstanding hospitality, food is delicious, and the cocktails and wine list are superb!
