Chef Vincenzo Mangiafridda, a twenty-year restaurant veteran of the Upper East Side, wanted to open a restaurant that spoke to his deep Sicilian roots. In 83 1/2, his vision has become reality. He created a menu of memorable Italian dishes including silky pastas, inventive antipasti, and delicious entrees. The food was great, service from Steve was amazing and it was a lovely experience. We were a party of 7 with 3 kids and everyone was happy! Thank you to Steve and the staff! For brunch we ate eggs, waffles, pancakes and burger- all delicious!

We booked a table of 10 last minute and Osteria did not disappoint. We weren’t expecting much, but the food was delicious. The place has nice decor and the staff were welcoming!

The bar was a bit disappointing - avg drinks and $13 for a mocktail was too much! Saving grace are the mussels and frites. Huge mussels and oh so tasty. Should have skipped the lobster roll. Excellent staff.
