We arrived in time but they sat us over 15 minutes later. They promised us the best table (as I had requested it - it was our 11th wedding anniversary) but they gave us a simple and small table, very close to other people. They brought a tray of oysters but didn’t tag them so when we wanted to order more of a specific type we had no idea what was their name. We ended up not ordering them They brought us 2 glasses of Prosecco right when we were paying the check (we would have appreciated that at the beginning of the dinner); we left the restaurant and felt tipsy at the theater. Sam the waiter was very nice.

Cafe Luxembourg has an upbeat, yet intimate aura all its own. The service was impeccable, and all the staff worked in perfect concert to delight their clientele. The Crème Brûlée was outstanding! It was the best I’ve ever had.
