We ordered a variety of dishes to share. A few were excellent, several were good, and a couple were underwhelming. We liked the variety offered. Service staff were attentive, but they did take away 2 plates we weren't finished with, without asking. We were offered several seating options, and chose the upstairs patio lounge, which was moderately loud despite not having many people in it at first. Later, the noise level made conversations difficult and then impossible once the live music began. We were not informed about the live music and might have selected a different location had we known. Despite it being a cold evening, the patio temperature was kept comfortably warm by outdoor heaters. Atmosphere and experience overall were very good, and we would go again.

Such a sweet cafe. I ordered the basics, eggs, bacon, toast, with potatoes and was not disappointed! I splurged on sparkling water and was delighted to try the Italian Filette for the first time. I highly recommend this spot for a low-key, high-quality experience. I also have to add that I adored the waitress. Although I forget her name, her timing was impeccable with every step. Bravo!

El servicio es sensacional, desde elninstante en que llegas te atienen muy bien, Tyler y Jessi son excelentes meseros y el resto del personal tambien nos atendieron muy bien, reproducen peliculas, todos los lugares muy agradables y con una tematica muy estetica y romantica para pasar un muy buen momento con tu pareja o amigos.

We celebrated my friend's birthday on Tuesday evening. The entire experience was an amazing surprise. The view of the San Diego skyline was marvelous; the service was experienced and efficient and the food delicious. If I have one negative, it is that they add a 4% service charge to the bill. I was prepared to leave a 25% tip until I saw the 4% service charge on my bill. Then I decided to leave 21% instead. However, I highly recommend Mr. A's for any special occasion - it is truly a wonderful restaurant. I just deal with the services charge accordingly.
