Restaurant Claudine, Carpenter Carpenter’s third establishment, resides in a remodeled home in the up-and-coming Government Hill neighborhood. The space offers snug tables surrounded by elegant hand-painted wallpaper, vintage chandeliers, and sentimental pictures of our namesake, Houston Carpenter’s grandmother, Claudine. We now offer lunch and dinner Tuesday-Sunday, with Tea Time on Saturday and Sunday morning's. Restaurant Claudine has recently launched a new menu that features New American cuisine for both lunch and dinner.

Old Bexar rock, repurposed oak and cedar beams create a canvas that harkens back to the days when Texas was a battleground for independence. After your visit to the world-famous Alamo, the Tavern offers a chilled whiskey cocktail or an ice-cold Texan craft-brewed beer, served at a worn and weathered bar that is guarded by Texas’ largest girth longhorn mount.

Guillermo's Restaurant is an eclectic restaurant located in the business district of San Antonio near the Museum Reach River walk area. We serve lunch and dinner. Counter service is from 11 am until 2 pm M-F and waiter service from 2 pm until closing. Wait service on the weekends. Guillermo's morphs into a relaxed casual five star service restaurant at 5 pm. We serve primarily Italian fare but do offer selected items that would be classified as non - Italian. All of our food attempts to culturally connect to San Antonio. Our environment goal is to be calm and relaxed however our patio is intentionally designed to be more lively with with television and for sporting events and often softer live music. Our wall decorations are intended to highlight our crooked 100 + year old homes significance and works of local artist. Greenery and plants are also a big part in creating a positive environment.

Founded in 2006, Luce is a local favorite featuring many traditional dishes.     What an amazing Thanksgiving feast! We thought we’d be choosing 1 starter, 1 entree & 2 sides from the Ambler Thanksgiving menu, but know, we were served EVERYTHING ON THE MENU. Our server, Francisco, was extremely attentive & obviously a very professional experienced waiter, we wanted for nothing and thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated the great food, ambiance & service!

    I felt grateful for my 3rd Thanksgiving Dinner with Luce Ristorante E Enoteca! The atmosphere was pleasant, comfortable, and clean, setting the tone for a wonderful meal. The staff were super friendly and attentive, making us feel valued. The 3-course meal was a steal at $40, with each dish expertly prepared. The Turkey entree was a highlight, and the Lasagna entree was equally impressive. Overall, the service and food were truly exceptional.

    It was a wonderful experience, I chose Claudine to celebrate my daughter's 14th birthday, at first it was due to the style of decoration and ambiance there, which is exactly what my daughter loves and I wanted to provide her with this experience. But when we got there everything was above our expectations, the perfect service, the food delicious and very well served.
