Blue Ribbon Brasserie is built on the vision that originated over 30 years ago in New York City's SoHo at the legendary original Blue Ribbon, well known as the restaurant "where chefs go to eat." Blue Ribbon is also famously ready to serve here in Boston!The space is highlighted by a 70-foot white Carrera marble bar, an oyster bar, and a 16-seat private dining room. A New American Tavern, Russell House Tavern is a comfortable gathering spot for every occasion-from casual lunch breaks on the patio to after-work cocktails in the upstairs tavern to functions in the private dining room and everything in between. Bar Mezzana is a coastal Italian restaurant by Chef Colin Lynch at Ink Block in Boston’s South End, specializing in crudo and hand-made pasta. The Merchant is a big space that served for more than a century as a leather store. We've brought in high-top tables near the windows ... a 40-foot bar on one side of the room … and more formal dining spots on the opposite side. We have a private dining room in back, and another private dining room downstairs. For our menu, we make almost all of our fare from scratch. Executive chef Ignacio Lopez previously worked at both Beat Hotel in Cambridge and Tuscan Kitchen in Burlington. Chef Lopez cures and smokes all the meat in house. Our burger is top-notch, as are other dishes like house-made Gnochhi, Organic Chicken Milanaise and Steak Frites. The Merchant serves salads, sandwiches ($15-$21), and more for the lunch rush. And for dinner, we are a full-service brasserie (with most entrees ranging from $25-$30). The bar has 30+ rotating beers on tap, many of them locally brewed, plus a full selection of craft cocktails to serve our patrons, including the after-work crowd.

    Was a big fan of this retuarant group's Temple Bar which closed much to my disappointment a while back making a visit to Russell House very much anticipated. This restarant didnt disapoint. I arrived early and enjoyed a few drinks at the bar. The bar had an exccellent selection of cocktails, craft beers and high end liquors not found everywhere (Pappy Van Winckle). The bar is upstairs and once we finished and hit our reservation time slot we went downstairs for dinner. The menu was creative, the portions modest and the food very good. We had a few appetizers then our main course. The staff was attentive and the atmosphere was vibrant but not excessively loud. I very much enjoyed the experience and look forward to a return.

    I have eaten here many times and Francis, our server has always been a pleasure to be with. My guest had a bunch of food requests, and she handled it with grace and made my client feel welcome. The kitchen honored every request wonderfully. I enjoyed the crab cake, the view and the service. Will be back!

    Have been here a couple times. Dim lit ambience, classy but casual. Can be super quiet and relaxing, got stuck next to a loud obnoxious 8 top last time but was still able to enjoy the night due to the spacious table layout
