Valenza is a cozy, upscale Italian eatery in Brookhaven. It takes its name from a small village in the Piedmonte region of Northern Italy. Valenza is well known throughout the world for its artisan jewelry manufacturing which has earned it the nickname “city of gold”. The cuisine at VALENZA is inspired by the diverse culture of Northern Italy. Executive Chef Matt Swickerath’s focus is on classic and modern cooking methods using fresh seasonal and local ingredients to create a classic Italian menu with an updated culinary touch. The menu features a variety of antipasti, pasta, risotto and Italian entrees. Valenza has the heart and spirit of a cozy and warm Italian village café in an upscale setting.     We had a wonderful experience at Message in a Bottle. Hard to believe we had not tried this restaurant yet - since we are Seafood lovers. My husband is from Maryland and very particular about Crab Cakes. This is one of two restaurants in Atlanta that passed the test - he loved them. I had the grouper sandwich with Old Bay Fries. All delicious! Bartender, John, was very welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable about wine and other. Nice large bar area. Beachy theme. We definitely will be back. This restaurant was a great find and I would highly recommend it.

    The food was delicious.. I ordered the Oysters Rockefeller without bacon extra cooked, crab cakes and arugula salad. We sat at the bar and the service was great. We went back the next day and the service was impeccable and ordered the baked shrimp and Oysters Rockefeller without bacon and arugula salad. Will go back.

    Overall, as always, a reliably good meal. The seafood platter is fantastic. My steak was not done correctly, first time that’s happened in many visits, but they corrected it. Bone in filet was so flavorful, love it. Service was top notch, corkage fees are getting a little high at $40
