Umi Sake House is a unique Japanese cuisine restaurant in the Belltown area of Seattle featuring the highest quality seafood available in the Northwest, a large izakaya-style tapas menu, and boasting a sake list of over 60 imported Japanese bottles. The interior is multi-faceted, with a black slate tiled traditional dining room, a gorgeous 14 person capacity wooden sushi bar, a semi private "tatami" room which holds 12 people, a larger 25 person private dining room, an enclosed "back patio" casual dining room complete with tropical garden, a black concrete liquor bar with custom sake cocktails and fusion traditional cocktails. We went on the OOLA distillery tour and decided to have dinner at OOLA Capitol Hill afterwards — BEST DECISION, and such a fun way to spend the afternoon. The signature burger and fries are BY FAR the best burger I’ve ever had. My husband and I each had a cocktail, and they were superb. The staff were really nice and the atmosphere was really relaxed and fun. We had a great time! We live about an hour away from Seattle and I’m not exaggerating when I say that we will be driving back for that burger again!

What a lovely venue! Bright and airy with stellar views of Elliott Bay and the surroundings. We had Saturday brunch and all our meals were outstanding — delicious generous potions. Our server was attentive and considerate of our long stay for a holiday visit with friends we haven’t seen for a year. We CC will return.
