Farmshop Marin is Jeff Cerciello’s second outpost which opened in 2013 in the heart of the Marin Country Mart in Larkspur. It follows in the footsteps of Farmshop Los Angeles, the acclaimed restaurant and artisan market that opened in the Brentwood Country Mart in 2010. Farmshop Marin features pristine California-centric ingredients and refined yet comforting dishes.The impressive 6,500 sq foot space features a comfortable and elegant dining room, outdoor patio, expansive full-bar area seating 50 people, lounge, private dining room seating 60, and an open-hearth wood-burning oven and grill. A gathering space for Marin locals & ferry commuters, the restaurant offers the impeccably-sourced, seasonal California fare Farmshop has come to be known for, with additional pizza, fish and meats fresh from the wood-burning oven and grill. Please note that reservation of 7 or more require a credit card. Cards will be charged $25 per guest for parties that do not arrive for their reservation.

Beautiful Modern Mediterranean restaurant by Chefs Laura and Sayat (Star Chefs and San Francisco Chronicle Rising Stars) at the Main Parade Lawn in the heart of the Presidio National Park. The restaurant's menus feature Presidio-inspired seasonal craft cocktails, a progressive wine menu, and a cuisine that balances the comfort of familiar Mediterranean flavors with California sensibilities. In cohesion with the Presidio National Park, the design features soft, natural colors; repurposed furniture items from the Presidio; and a mural and a hand-drawn wall paper by Bay Area artist Emily Parkinson.     Highly recommend Insalata's. The server was friendly, efficient and understanding of the logistics of a big table (11). We sat down to dine at 9pm because we had come from an event, and we never felt rushed, we took our time and had a great meal. Food: - The Wagyu beef was excellent, from Snake Hill Farms. As I knew where it came from I had it rare and it was just right. - The grilled chicken marinated in yoghurt was tender as always. - The pasta was great. Portions are generous.

    Laura and Sayat have done something really special here. The attention to detail is evident in every dish, beverage, service and decor. There really is no other restaurant In SF I can compare it to. Bravo!
